If you arrive in Dalmatia by plane, ferryboat or train, your first destination will be the city of Split - only 25 km from Omis.
The beach and restaurants are quite distant from villas, but it takes just several minute drives to reach them. Therefore the car is fully recommended. Nidus Onei has a large private parking area for 4 cars.

if you come by car from Split airport (where you have a lot of rent-a-car agencies), we recommend you to follow the coastal road (signs: Omis / Makarska / Dubrovnik). 

For those who are coming by car via highway, no matter from which direction, we recommend to go out at exit Blato n/c. That is more kilometers to drive than following exit Split, but during the summer season, this is usually the fastest option. Blato n/c exit is approximately 17 km away from Omis, and the local road goes through the villages in the hinterland, which is quite an interesting route.
